Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Internal Communications (this is not a managerial role)
- Ability to simplify complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner
- Experience working on tight timelines and adapting quickly to change
- Strong writing skills in English, with a focus on creative writing across various topics and copy-editing experience
- Diligent attention to detail, balanced with the ability to multitask and execute tasks quickly
- High levels of curiosity and creative thinking are key to creating compelling campaigns or solving unexpected challenges
- Demonstrates a global mindset, cultural awareness and experience working with audiences across time zones and awareness of regional practices (or a willingness to learn them)
- Proven ability to influence and support senior executives and leaders
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience writing business communications (e.g., executive emails)
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a communications strategy that creatively informs and engages employees on business announcements, culture, and Internal Ops programs
- Create key messages and select the appropriate internal channels to share them (regionally and globally, where applicable)
- Support company leadership and work closely with our Internal Ops team to navigate sensitive internal communication topics, change management, and elevate employee feedback
- Build deep, trusted partnerships with business leaders and collaborate on key initiatives to increase team engagement
- Guide employees through the scaling of our organizational tools, programs, and processes using engaging communications and strong change management principles
- Monitor internal channels (email, Slack, etc.) to identify opportunities for employee engagement, connect them with resources, clarify information, and promote collaboration
- Organize key internal initiatives, such as global and local events, to increase employee engagement
- Elevate the onboarding process and contribute to the global employee experience by developing creative resources
- Develop a point of view and own the strategy for internal communications, focusing on anticipating future needs and ensuring the team remains informed and aligned with our objectives and culture
