Summary

Join Tatari as an IT Helpdesk Technician in New York to support our innovative work environment and ensure smooth IT operations across all locations. This role involves providing technical support, performing basic network and system administration tasks, collaborating with office managers and People Ops, triaging helpdesk requests, responding to support requests promptly, processing and setting up IT equipment for new hires, assisting with new hire onboarding, and maintaining user-facing IT documentation. Qualifications include at least 1 year of IT or tech-related customer support, a bachelor's degree preferred, basic understanding of computer systems and networks, familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems, and availability for 10-12 hours per week.

  • Basic understanding of computer systems and networks
  • Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems

  • 10-12 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 9:00am-1:00pm PST, based on business needs)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for our office by addressing hardware, software, and network issues with guidance from senior members of the team
  • Perform basic network and system administration tasks under senior IT guidance
  • Collaborate with office managers and People Ops to address IT needs
  • Become adept at triaging helpdesk requests via Slack and Jira Service Management
  • Respond to support requests promptly and empathetically, clearly documenting actions taken during troubleshooting and resolution
  • Follow our runbooks closely, alerting senior IT when something doesn’t look right
  • Process, clean, and set up IT equipment for new hires and existing employees
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and equipment handoffs
  • Utilize, maintain and update user-facing IT documentation in our Confluence instance
