Summary

Join Productive Playhouse as their IT Manager, collaborating closely with the Director of Technology and the IT team. Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management or related roles, with hands-on experience managing IT infrastructure and teams
  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems
  • Experience managing on-premises servers, storage area networks (SAN), and network-attached storage (NAS) devices
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (including Power BI), Salesforce, and Azure
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues across the organization
  • Ability to manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are executed efficiently and align with company goals
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of IT security practices, with a focus on ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of the companyโ€™s systems and data

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks, ensuring they meet organizational needs
  • Assist the Director of Technology in leading and mentoring the IT staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
  • Analyze resource utilization, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies to optimize system performance, enhance productivity, and reduce costs
  • Establish and define IT goals, contributing to the creation of a comprehensive IT roadmap aligned with organizational priorities. Measure the progress of IT initiatives and adjust plans as needed to meet evolving business needs
  • Manage development and integration projects that bring new technologies and systems into existing infrastructure, ensuring projects align with business objectives and are completed on time
  • Oversee the daily activities of the help desk team to ensure timely and efficient resolution of IT support requests, as well as maintain a knowledge base for user self-service
  • Perform routine support and maintenance of all IT systems, ensuring the continued functionality and security of hardware, software, and network infrastructure
  • Develop and implement security protocols to protect the company's IT infrastructure and sensitive data. Ensure compliance with security standards and policies, and conduct regular audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
  • Continuously evaluate and assess new technologies, tools, and systems that could benefit the company. Recommend and implement solutions that improve business operations and meet future needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with network administration (Cisco certification is a plus)
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified (e.g., MCSA or MCSE), or CompTIA Network+ are a plus

Benefits

This is a remote position; however, it may require in-office attendance for designated meetings and training sessions, as well as occasional travel to other worksites
