Key responsibilities include preparing and reconciling financial adjustments, resolving errors in transaction reports, developing inventory reports, ensuring SOX compliance, and performing ad-hoc reporting. This position requires intermediate accounting knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Retail accounting experience is a plus. Requirements

• Intermediate accounting knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and build cross-functional relationships
• Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile financial adjustments to maintain Stock Ledger accuracy and support planning and forecasting
• Research and resolve errors in daily transaction reports and respond to cross-functional department inquiries
• Develop and distribute reports on inventory valuation and shrink trends
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls for audit readiness and participate in process improvement initiatives
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and review peer-prepared adjustments for accuracy
