Summary
Join Twist Bioscience as a Key Accounts Manager (KAM) and play a pivotal role in expanding our SynBio & Biopharma business within the top 50 global pharmaceutical companies. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Partnerships, you will coordinate and support Account Managers and Business Development Managers' activities across multiple geographic locations. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue objectives, preparing regular progress reports, and forecasting sales. You will collaborate with the local BD manager to establish and expand revenue-generating partnerships worldwide. This role requires significant travel and a proven track record of success in the SynBio and Biopharma sectors.
Requirements
- More than 5+ years of sales experience within the SynBio and Biopharma arenas
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding business goals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of market trends, competitive and industry landscape
- Time management and flexibility with job duties
- Willingness to travel 50%
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow Twistโs SynBio & Biopharma business at top 50 Big Pharma companies in different countries around the world
- Prepare and deliver business development strategies to globally grow Twistโs Biopharma business
- Design and develop strategies that move Twist SynBio and BioPharma solutions toward its specific revenue objectives on a geographic basis
- Prepare and present regular reports on progress towards business goals
- Forecast and obtain sales quota on a regular basis
- Sell and support business goals with others and ensure peak performance from the BD team within the Big Pharma sector
- Coordinate and support AM & BD activities at the different geographic locations of multinational partners
- Support the AM & BD Manager efforts to establish revenue generating partnerships in their respective geographic locations
- Support sales activities to expand partnerships and increase revenues on a worldwide basis at the subsidiaries/affiliates at other geographic locations
