Summary
Join Instructure as a Learn Platform Sales Specialist and drive the adoption and growth of our Learn platform in the K12 marketplace. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to onboarding clients, while engaging with K-12 institutions to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Leverage your expertise in EdTech and ability to build client relationships to succeed. Maintain deep product knowledge, conduct demos and presentations, and stay current on industry trends. Collaborate with the sales team on strategies and manage your sales pipeline effectively. Meet or exceed sales targets and maintain accurate sales records in Salesforce.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years in sales or business development within the edtech industry
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a full sales cycle
- Familiarity with the challenges and needs of K-12 education institutions
- Ability to articulate the technical features and benefits of Learn Platform, understanding its integration with other systems and workflows
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to C-suite executives and other senior decision-makers
- Skilled in building rapport and maintaining long-term professional relationships
- Experience with Salesforce to track activities, manage opportunities, and report on sales progress
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer support
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute a full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and onboarding clients, with a primary focus on the Learn platform
- Engage with K-12 institutions and other potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions leveraging Learn Platform
- Maintain deep knowledge of Learn Platform, and how it meets the unique needs of educational institutions and organizations
- Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and value proposition of the Learn platform
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer challenges to effectively position Learn Platform
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions, businesses, and organizations
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to create and execute effective sales strategies and tactics for the Learn Platform
- Effectively manage and prioritize a sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and maximizing opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client feedback in Salesforce and meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelorโs degree in business, marketing, education, or related field

- This role will have a commission target of $100k putting this at an OTE of $190-200k
