Learning Designer

Summary

The Learning Designer will create engaging online learning experiences for enterprise training programs in data and AI, helping professionals make data-driven decisions and optimize their work using generative AI. This role is remote and the estimated hourly rate is $10-$15 for a 6-month contract with 30-40 hours of work per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Design, Business, or a related field
• Experience in designing courses for adult learners
• Comfortable with designing corporate training for data and AI topics
• Experience in applying effective strategies to engage learners and help them achieve learning goals
• Superior written communication, copy editing, and proofreading skills
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Biased for action; tenacious
• Collaborative spirit, proactive in reaching out to people and keeping them in the loop
• Comfortable and excited to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Develop slides and instructor guides for live online training programs focusing on data and AI
• Customize curriculum by updating examples and case studies based on client needs
• Design interactive exercises and activities to engage learners and promote hands-on practices
• Create workbooks for assignments and guidelines for learners to complete a successful capstone project
• Assess what went well across programs and develop reusable learning assets that can be easily adapted for different client needs
• Review learning materials developed by subject matter experts and offer feedback to improve the learning experience
• Iterate on the lessons based on instructor and learner feedback
• Ensure effective design, development, implementation, and feedback loops, considering different aspects of learning including assessment, delivery, and facilitation
• Define timelines, track progress, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Correlation One or similar organizations is beneficial but not mandatory
