Requirements

  • University degree in the field of translation, language/communication studies or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating projects within Life Science scope or generally within the language service industry or in a similar role
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Fluency in French is mandatory
  • Knowledge of commonly used CAT tools including XTM, Trados and Phrase
  • Outstanding communication skills - at ease talking to clients over the phone, via video-call meetings and in-person meetings
  • Strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and to organize workload in complex project situations
  • Experience managing customer relationships
  • Autonomy, strong team spirit and proactive attitude
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and workload

Responsibilities

  • Manage common and complex customer requirements (engagement and service setup, process improvement and optimization)
  • Lead end-to-end localization (translation) projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high quality translations on time and withing budget, while monitoring profit margins within the Life Science sector
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and continually improve localization processes for increased efficiency
  • Manage client relationships including mid-to upper level operational contacts, own customer satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Regulatory affairs/Submission project s or linguistic validation projects would be an asset
  • Fluency in German would be considered as an advantage
