Summary

Join HubSpot as the Manager, Marketing, Global Events and lead the demand generation and ticketing revenue strategy for INBOUND, HubSpot’s largest event. You will consult on marketing for other global HubSpot events and drive registration and revenue growth while building brand awareness and engagement. Leading a team of marketing specialists, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, oversee co-marketing partnerships, manage budgets, and provide data-driven insights. This role demands expertise in creating immersive brand experiences and building year-round community engagement. You will design event marketing strategies that create emotional connections with audiences and deliver measurable business outcomes. The position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at cross-functional collaboration, translating strategic objectives into actionable marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Have extensive experience in B2B marketing with a focus on demand generation for paid and free experiences
  • Have proven experience managing complex external and internal marketing campaigns and budgets
  • Have 2+ years of people management experience with demonstrated ability to develop and lead high-performing teams of 3+ people
  • Have proven expertise across multiple marketing channels (digital, content, social, email, paid media)
  • Have experience with AI marketing tools and solutions to enhance campaign effectiveness and create personalized experiences at scale, as well as, a personal working knowledge and regular usage of AI tools and solutions
  • Have proven expertise in using Marketing automation platforms to help execute, drive and monitor campaigns; experience in HubSpot Marketing Hub is a plus
  • Have past experience in engaging and enabling sales and customer success teams + larger internal audience(s) to leverage the impact of an events portfolio to engage their customers and drive business forward
  • Be willing to travel quarterly and have flexibility to work extended hours during key event periods

Responsibilities

  • Lead the demand generation and ticketing revenue strategy for INBOUND, HubSpot’s largest event property
  • Consult on the marketing for other HubSpot Global events (GROW, Spotlight, etc)
  • Drive registration and revenue growth while building brand awareness and engagement across HubSpot's events portfolio
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns
  • Oversee co-marketing partnerships
  • Manage budgets
  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize event performance
  • Create immersive brand experiences and build year-round community engagement that extends beyond individual events
  • Design event marketing strategies that create emotional connections with audiences and deliver measurable business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience managing event registration platforms (Bizzabo experience is a plus)
  • Have proven experience with event technology integration and digital engagement strategies for both in-person and virtual/hybrid events
  • Have strong analytical skills with ability to create data-driven attribution models connecting event marketing to revenue outcomes
  • Have expertise in developing strategic partnerships that enhance event value beyond transactional relationships
  • Have exceptional agility and creative problem-solving abilities to develop and implement rapid response marketing strategies when event ticket sales aren't meeting projections
  • Have excellent budget management skills with a track record of optimizing marketing spend
  • Have outstanding project management abilities with expertise in juggling multiple initiatives simultaneously (previous use of Asana is a plus)
  • Have exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging with executives and cross-functional partners

Benefits

  • Cash compensation range: 116000-174000 USD Annually
  • The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles
  • In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs)
  • Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay
