Summary
Join OpenTable, a leading hospitality company, as a Marketing Analytics Manager and contribute to the success of our North American markets. Collaborate with marketing leads to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations. Own marketing data flows and reporting, supporting and evaluating campaigns through advanced analytics. Evaluate new marketing initiatives and opportunities using data. Prepare and present data analyses to various audiences. Collect feedback and manage ad hoc requests from the marketing team. Improve marketing data flow and metric definition. This role requires strong communication, project management, and analytical skills, along with experience in marketing analytics and leading analytics efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience with various data tools and technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analytics or marketing analytics, and at least 2 years of experience leading analytics efforts within an organization
- Experience with Snowflake or any other relational database
- Strong SQL skills + Experience with design and development of ETL processes
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Superset, Power BI for building self serve dashboards
- Advanced Excel skills required, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP; equivalent Google Sheets experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing leads to deliver insights and recommendations to influence marketing strategies
- Own marketing data flows and reporting
- Support and evaluate marketing campaigns through advanced analytics
- Evaluate and outline new marketing initiatives and opportunities through data
- Prepare and present data analyses for audiences across the organization
- Collect feedback and handle flow of inbound ad hoc requests from the Marketing team
- Improve marketing data flow and metric definition
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python/R is a plus
- Operational experience in measuring and improving efficiency, utilization, scale initiatives, etc
- High energy and contagious enthusiasm; willing to take on tough projects
- Self starter with strong sense of ownership and accountability and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote first and fast-paced environment and collaborate across time zones
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including detailing business processes, use cases, and business requirements
- Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities, problem solving, negotiation, task and project coordination, and organization skills
