Summary
Join DARO, a technology social enterprise, as a Project Manager for the GivingTuesday Data Commons. This remote, full-time position, based in the Americas with a 9-5 EST schedule, offers a competitive salary (250,000-300,000 BRL annually for Brazilian applicants) and 12 months of maternity leave coverage. You will manage projects, teams, and resources, ensuring project excellence and client satisfaction. The role involves collaborating with global partners, developing strategies, and utilizing project management frameworks. This is initially a temporary, 12-month contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role. Responsibilities
- Ensure project management excellence across a broad portfolio of data infrastructure, research & analytics, and other technology projects
- Convert senior leadership strategy and intent into action plans through the development of project plans, project monitoring systems, and resource tracking systems
- Develop and manage project plans with the foresight that they will grow, shift and evolve on a day-to-day basis
- Provide business analysis and stay a step ahead of the problems that arise, adapting plans as needs and priorities change
- Practise excellent client management to maintain positive and strategically-oriented relationships
- Lead and iterate on processes and governance to support the operations of the Data Commons
- Articulate and communicate project objectives, outcomes, and relevance to organisational strategy
- Ensure processes and for allocating project resources and monitoring activities are clear, efficient, and up-to-date
- Liaise with both DARO and GivingTuesday Operations teams to ensure alignment resourcing needs & solutions
- Support the creation of content and deliverable components as needed
- Maintain a positive and productive relationship with partnering project staff and coordinate their efforts
- Take responsibility for the direction of the team, continuously re-prioritizing as context changes
- Support strategy development and adjustment through communication with the GivingTuesday Data Commons leadership team
- Develop and manage systems to track resource allocation across a broad portfolio of projects and provide regular high-level budget updates to senior leadership
- Support the contracting process - managing agreements with consultants, SaaSβs, and more
- Support partnership development project delivery by identifying additional areas for support/new projects
- Lead important projects and initiatives that help our partners and provide value to the sector
- Stay up to date on trends in the sector, to apply them in our projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in impact measurement & evaluation
