Summary
Join Taproot Foundation as their Manager, Strategic Operations, a remote role where you will optimize operations, enhance systems, and support organizational growth. Reporting to the COO, you will oversee key operational processes, technology platforms, vendor relations, and compliance efforts. You will lead transformational initiatives, including expanding the use of AI in operational workflows, ensuring seamless integration of technology, operations, process, and culture. Partner with the COO to refine operational strategies and policies, and lead operational initiatives such as employee onboarding/offboarding and managing key business systems. You will also lead change management initiatives and support special projects, including planning and executing events. Finally, you will update and maintain Taproot’s operating plan.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or business analysis, with a strong focus on operations and technology
- Experienced using Gen AI and other emergent digital tools in daily workflow and brings a sense of knowledge and curiosity to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Proficient with platforms such as Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, Asana, Zoom, Klaviyo/CRM, Calendly, or similar tools
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects, operational workflows
- Ability to analyze operational data, track KPIs, and assess progress toward goals
- Experience with sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and managing external vendors
- Knowledge of risk management strategies and compliance (SOC2, GDPR, digital security best practices)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
Responsibilities
- Partner with the COO to refine operational strategies, policies, and practices that align with Taproot’s mission and values
- Oversee and optimize systems and tools to ensure integration, efficiency, and alignment with operational goals. Identify opportunities for innovation and technology to drive improvements across the organization
- Lead operational initiatives, including employee onboarding/offboarding, Information Security requests, licensing agreements, and internal security programs
- Manage key business systems working closely with the COO to ensure platforms meet team needs and improve operational performance
- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring effective tracking, communication, and documentation of projects
- Support special projects and strategic priorities, including planning and executing in-person events and summits to foster a high-performing organizational culture
- Update and maintain Taproot’s operating plan, coordinating with key stakeholders under the leadership of the COO
