Collaborate with our Localization and Product Marketing teams to enhance our messaging, positioning, and in-product communications. This role blends product marketing strategy with linguistic expertise, ensuring high-quality and culturally relevant localized content. You will develop user-friendly messaging, collaborate on a unified product positioning framework, audit existing messaging, conduct market research, and review translations for accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in product marketing or a related field, proven translation experience, native-level Danish, excellent English, and strong writing and communication skills. Based ideally in Denmark, you will ensure our content resonates with the local audience.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 year experience in product marketing, product copywriting, or a related field
• Proven experience as a translator, reviewer, or similar role
• Native-level proficiency in Danish and excellent command of English
• Strong writing, communication, and proofreading skills with an attention to detail
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and ability to adapt content accordingly

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine concise, user-friendly messaging for KAYAK’s features and unique selling propositions (USPs)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a unified product positioning and messaging framework
• Audit and update existing product messaging to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with KAYAK’s brand strategy
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Review, proofread, and resolve linguistic issues in translations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to guidelines
• Ensure all translations meet the brand's quality standards and are culturally appropriate for the target audience
• Provide feedback to translators and collaborate in maintaining language-specific style guides and glossaries
• Evaluate the quality of Machine Translation (MT) or AI-generated content, and fully localize the content to improve the user engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CAT tools is a plus
• Understanding of the challenges and considerations when working with MT or AI-generated content
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
• Ideally based in the local market to stay on top of the local marketing trends
