Summary
Join Muon Space as their Marketing Lead and be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy encompassing social media, web, product, media, and events. You will create an integrated marketing plan to meet company goals and develop compelling marketing content. This role involves managing marketing contract support and collaborating with various teams. The position is located on-site in Mountain View, CA, Northern Virginia, or remotely. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience are required. The salary range is $107K-$179K.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, or a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience working as a marketing manager, or other related position
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
- Excellent copywriting skills and hands-on experience in content management
- Strong computer skills using Google Workplace and Adobe
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
- Analytical and multitasking skills, familiarity with web design, and knowledge of online marketing channels
- Ability to self-govern with minimum supervision, establish workload priorities, and utilize efficient time management practices to achieve assigned task
- Experience with aerospace or space industry marketing
Responsibilities
- Define overall integrated marketing strategy and plan across all content disciplines. Set key objectives, measure and report on impacts
- Manage marketing support consultants to include media, graphics and others as needed
- Collaborate with other teams to include Sales, Engineering and legal to ensure brand consistency, tone, voice and terminology
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Create product line marketing materials
- Plan for and execute event exhibits to include supporting material, booth design and overall event planning coordination
- Manage social media accountsβ design, and suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness
- Stay current on technologies and trends in marketing, design tools, and applications
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
- Edit and proofread copy as needed
- Build partnerships with customer and partner for supportive and joint marketing initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with aerospace or space industry marketing
- Experience working with a diverse set of Commercial, U.S. Government DoD, IC and Civil customers
