Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Expertise in Proficiency in Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo)
  • Knowledge of technical concepts such as data modeling, pipelines, and system workflows
  • Practical experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP - e.g., Segment, Tealium, AEP, Salesforce Data Cloud, mParticle)
  • Familiarity with Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with Web and Product Analytics Tools (e.g., Amplitude, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
  • Experience in Vendor Relationship Management and Technology Budgets
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Proficiency in Project Management Tools (e.g., Asana)
  • Experience in marketing operations, martech, or related areas, with a proven track record in building and scaling a marketing operations function
  • Prior experience with B2B products, preferably in large software companies
  • Experience with people management, managing senior managers/specialists
  • Fluency in English is mandatory

Responsibilities

  • Build and Optimization of the Marketing Engine: Possess the vision for the B2B marketing operations function, maintaining the systems and processes that allow the marketing team to scale effectively
  • Technology and Strategy: Lead the strategic planning, management, and optimization of the marketing technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Oversee the entire martech stack, from vendor selection and acquisition to implementation, integration, and user adoption
  • Processes and Automation: Design, manage, and optimize essential marketing processes, including lead management (scoring, routing, nurturing), campaign execution workflows, and data governance. Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • AI and Innovation: Act as the primary AI evangelist in marketing; identify, evaluate, and implement AI-based tools and strategies to drive personalization, operational efficiency, and deeper analytics
  • Data and Analysis: Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, hygiene, and compliance within marketing systems. In partnership with the Analytics team, develop and maintain a robust marketing analytics framework, including dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as lead-to-revenue funnels, campaign attribution, and database health
  • Team Enablement: Act as the primary expert on marketing technology and processes, training and supporting the marketing team on new and existing tools, promoting best practices to drive adoption and maximize the value of technology investments
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and engineering teams to define requirements for new marketing capabilities and integrations. Act as the primary point of contact for marketing technology issues, ensuring swift resolution and clear communication to stakeholders
  • Performance Measurement: Analyze marketing performance and operational metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Communicate insights and results to stakeholders at all levels, including the Senior Director of Martech and, at times, VPs of Marketing, Sales, and Engineering
