Summary
Join Blavity, Inc. as a Media Planner to develop and lead innovative digital media and experiential strategies. This (W2) Contractor position requires creating media plans balancing reach, frequency, and cost-efficiency. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the digital media landscape, analytical skills, and excellent communication. This fully remote, U.S.-based role reports to the Associate Director of Media Planning & Sales Operations and requires at least 50% overlap with the Pacific Time Zone. Contractors provide their own equipment. The hourly rate is $30/hr for 29 hours per week over 6 months.
Requirements
- Education : Bachelorβs Degree
- Required Experience : 1+ years of experience in media planning or media buying
- Experience evaluating and recommending digital media mixes that help ensure successful campaigns
- Technologies : Fluent in Microsoft Office, Google Suite
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
- High-energy, company-first, positive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and analytical skills; outgoing and sociable
- Naturally detail-oriented, with an obsessive need to document and communicate findings
- A healthy appreciation of GIFs and Black culture
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Candidates must be available to work at least 50% in alignment with the Pacific Time Zone
Responsibilities
- Create media plans for partnership reps that help our clients achieve campaign objectives within the allocated budget
- Support the Sales team in digital media campaign planning and putting together strategic recommendations
- Collaborate closely with the Associate Director to streamline processes and implement best practices
- Collaborate with account teams and clients to understand campaign goals, target audience, and budget constraints
- Build effective relationships with colleagues throughout the Blavity organization to support analysis of product performance based on multiple internal metrics including technical, financial, sales and strategic benchmarks
- Partner with Ad Ops to manage and control inventory (understanding sell through rate, as well as what is not sold)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in digital media, or related high-growth start-up
- Experience with media buying or trafficking is a plus
- Knowledge in CRM software, Salesforce, and Operative/AOS is a plus
