Operations Analyst Intern

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, and advanced formulas)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable conclusions
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data handling and analysis

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Utilize Excel and SQL to extract, clean, and analyze data from credit risk, fraud, and support ticket datasets
• Trend Identification: Investigate patterns and trends in data to identify potential risks, anomalies, or operational inefficiencies
• Reporting: Create clear, concise reports and visualizations in Excel to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Query Development: Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve relevant data from databases for analysis
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to recommend improvements based on data insights
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of analysis processes and findings for future reference
• Support: Assist in ad-hoc data requests and projects as needed by the Operations team
