Summary

The Partner Success Manager role at Hack.Diversity is a full-time, remote position with preference for New York City. The role involves managing a portfolio of 5-10 Host Company accounts, ensuring successful experiences for host companies, supporting racial equity, diversity, and inclusion (REDI) initiatives, and driving partnership renewal rates. Requirements

  • Commitment to the mission of Hack.Diversity and values of racial equity, diversity, and inclusion (REDI)
  • Experience in corporate account management, business consulting, or other relevant customer support liaison experience
  • Ability to autonomously drive relationship management while simultaneously managing team-wide projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Enjoys nurturing partner/customer relationships, and motivated to foster equitable systems change through account relationships
  • Highly organized, solutions-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask in a dynamic organization
  • Effective, efficient, and detail-oriented project management skills
  • Motivated by personal ability to drive meaningful REDI improvements, even when encountering others’ initial resistance to moving away from the status quo
  • Willing to engage in feedback conversations with partners to provide Hack.Diversity recommended approaches, practices, and mindsets through a racial equity lens, and an ongoing desire to continue learning and practicing feedback techniques to cultivate a firm but respectful approach
  • Shares Hack.Diversity’s values of community, advocacy, resiliency, and empathy

Responsibilities

  • Manage program life-cycle experience of Hack.Diversity corporate partners
  • Onboard new partners
  • Support and collaborate with partners in their REDI Challenge and design they wish to achieve throughout partnership with Hack.Diversity
  • Regular email and verbal communication to partners to ensure they are submitting deliverables in a timely manner
  • Engage in monthly check-in video calls with all partners to review REDI action, design thinking sessions, deliverables, feedback, etc
  • Establish a mutual affirmative and constructive feedback loop with partners
  • Retain a minimum of $250K (NYC) partner revenue annually, with the goal of 80% of FY24 contracted internship roles are renewed for FY25
  • Support logistics of the 9-month Hack.Diversity program cycle including internship matching process
  • Create customized bi-annual reports for your accounts to support performance review of partnership goals
  • Lead logistics and execution of Hack’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Workable, to support a successful intern matching process
  • Utilize Hack’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, HubSpot, to track partner communications and updates
  • Contribute content and graphics for showcasing Hack.Diversity impact during mid-year and end-of-year report-outs to corporate partners
  • Populate partner-facing surveys to collect data about partner experiences to enable programmatic improvements
  • Partner with Associate Director to design and facilitate “Pitch Day” for companies to present their opportunities to Fellows
  • Hold our partner companies accountable to the REDI goals they’ve committed to in partnership with Hack, notably, improving any inequities in their current systems or processes while striving to build new REDI practices that encourage inclusion and belonging
  • Lead and manage difficult conversations with partner companies when feedback is necessary to ensure success for our Fellows and goals accountability for our partners
  • Curate and invite relevant audiences to REDI and talent acquisition events
  • Inform both Hack.Diversity’s REDI programming, and Hack.Diversity’s Fellow curriculum, based on partners’ talent acquisition interests and company feedback
  • Drive the coordination of partner-facing REDI events, including but not limited to creating seamless virtual environment setup e.g. a Zoom webinar where participant registration would auto-populate a calendar invitation with a working “join” link, agenda, and auto-reminders to attend the event

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong ability to both receive and provide feedback on potentially uncomfortable perspectives and topics related to REDI in a firm and respectful way
  • Proficiency with technical recruiting approaches and evaluation metrics used
  • Familiarity with Canva or other graphic design platforms
  • Comfort with ambiguity and working within fast-growing startups and/or nonprofits
  • Stays up to date on news, trends, and advancements in tech, innovation, and Human Resources (HR) practices
