This Partnership Manager role focuses on driving indirect sales by building and maintaining strong relationships with partners across North America. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, closing, and managing two to three large partnership relationships, creating sales proposals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting partners in procurement processes. Success in this role requires significant experience in sales, consulting, and managing large enterprise partnerships, particularly within the healthcare IT sector. Requirements
- 8+ years of related sales and/or consulting experience (or a combination of experience), proven ability to seek and close large deals combined with client management experience. (i.e. project implementation, sales, customer success)
- Ability to travel 25 - 40% is required
- In-depth understanding of Smile Digital Healthβs product and services capabilities and how they deliver value to customers
- Ability to discuss technical issues and concepts to ensure requirements are met and challenges are addressed and resolved
- Proven critical thinking, organization, planning, managing competing priorities, collaboration, communication and influencing skills
- Ability to apply quantitative methods for analysis
- Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally throughout the organization
- Ability to effectively use software including SalesForce, Google Suite/Windows/Mac, HubSpot and more
Responsibilities
- Pro-actively manage the sales relationship with Partners, actively seeking new indirect sales opportunities and closing deals with Partners
- Create proposals, pitches, pricing and sales presentations for potential Partnerships or clients and identify new and prospective Partnership opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical challenges are resolved
- Support Partners with the creation or revisions of responses for public or directed procurement (i.e. requests for proposals) to drive indirect sales
- Create and track sales forecasts based on strategic target markets
- Document and review collateral materials with Partners
- Update and maintain HubSpot activities
- Coordinate and schedule regular sales meetings with Partners to discuss opportunities, new and/or updated product(s) and services as well as any challenges that require resolution
- Comply with the privacy, security and confidentiality policies
- Hold all confidential information in trust and strict confidence and ensure that it shall be used only for the purposes required to fulfill employment obligations, and shall not be used for any other purpose, or disclosed to any third party
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education, in a related field of study such as business, is preferred
- Experience with proposal creation and market analysis would be ideal
- Experience in IT healthcare preferred
- Experience managing large enterprise partnerships and working on public sector deals
- Have a proven track record to deliver on sales targets and manage competing priorities ideally in a Partnership role or similar B2B environment
- Demonstrated competency with developing early client or partner relationships
- Demonstrated ability and proven experience to build and maintain effective professional relationships with various levels of businesses and partners in the software industry
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and lead preferred
