Summary
Join Pleo, a company revolutionizing business spend management, as a Partnerships Business Development Associate in Lisbon. You will cultivate relationships with accounting partners, primarily in Sweden, identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and implementing strategies for new alliances. Based in the Lisbon office, you will be the first point of contact for partners, nurturing relationships to drive engagement and revenue. You will also educate partners on Pleo's offerings and share insights with product teams. Pleo offers a relocation package and a supportive, collaborative work environment. Requirements
- At least 1 year experience in a customer facing role. If you have experience in accounting our eyes will shine!
- Strong drive to take your first steps into a partnerships/sales career
- Exceptional people skills. After all, you are the first person that our accounting partners will ultimately meetโฆ first impressions are everything!
- Results-driven mindset with a genuine, empathetic approach to customer conversations
- You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and are excited to grow alongside the company
- Fluency in English (our company language) and Swedish ๐ธ๐ช You will feel comfortable communicating with clients in any of these languages
Responsibilities
- Conduct business development activities to identify and develop relationships with Accounting Pleo Partners
- As the first line of communications for our Partnerships team, you'll qualify potential partners and triage the highest potential ones to our Partner Managers
- Research business opportunities, support due diligence activities and implement plans and strategies for new alliances
- Attend on-site events to source new partners
- Nurture relationships with Partners to drive higher engagement and revenue from the Accounting Partner Channel
- Educate Partners on Pleoโs offering at scale
- Share your insights on product adoption trends with the Product teams to enable a more scalable experience for partners
