Payment Specialist

Summary

Join Boom Entertainment, a technology company powering major players in sports betting and online gaming, as a Part-Time, fully remote Payment Specialist! Work 3-4 days a week (ideally Wednesday-Sunday) with flexible hours, targeting 24 hours weekly. You will reconcile customer payments, prevent fraud, investigate suspicious accounts, and provide financial support. The role requires 2+ years of professional experience and strong communication skills. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Compensation is $18-$21/hour, with potential for additional hours.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience
• General understanding of Daily Fantasy Sports, Gaming, and payment processes within the gaming industry
• A high degree of integrity and prior experience dealing with sensitive customer data
• Has an eye for identifying problems and presenting solutions
• Strong communication skills with internal and external customers
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs)

Responsibilities

• Reconcile all customer payments and withdrawals as well as prevent and detect fraudulent transactions
• Interact with internal client data tools and software to extract information upon request and populate data into spreadsheet reports
• Utilizing Boom policy detection techniques in order to identify high-risk accounts and unusual activity
• Investigate, and subsequently close suspicious accounts in order to mitigate risk
• Provide inbound support related to customer financial inquiries while interacting with the Customer Support team
• Weekend work is required
