Summary

Join Boulevard as our People & Culture Generalist and report directly to the Director, Total Rewards. You will support Boulevardโ€™s People & Culture operations and administration, including compensation and benefits, touching all areas of the employee lifecycle. Leverage your expertise to deliver high-impact programs and solutions supporting our mission-oriented culture. Responsibilities include employee engagement and operations, HR policies and compliance, compensation and benefits administration, HR data and reporting, and administrative support. This role requires 3+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of US labor laws, strong communication skills, HRIS system experience, and demonstrated benefits administration experience. A bachelor's degree and experience with larger organizations are preferred.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the SaaS or tech industry
  • Knowledge of U.S. federal and state labor laws
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in HRIS systems and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience administering employee benefits and compensation analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to package and present complex analyses and recommendations clearly
  • Operates with strong judgment, creativity, agility and flexibility
  • Data-driven with a strong ability to analyze and turn data into insights and action plans aligned with company direction
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
  • Values led individual with an interest and ability to support programs and solutions that enhance diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging

Responsibilities

  • Promote our culture of human impact and high accountability as a key member of our People & Culture team, overseeing general operational support in areas such as benefits and compensation administration, employee engagement initiative support, onboarding and learning support, administration, data and internal systems support, and general program support
  • Partner with departmental leaders to plan and execute engagement initiatives, including surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs
  • Maintain and update HR policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Educate employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in managing compensation plans and benefits offerings
  • Partner with payroll and benefits providers to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Oversee all aspects of benefits administration, initially managing the process hands-on until additional support is established
  • Maintain accurate HR records and leverage data for reporting, insights, and decision-making to support workforce planning
  • Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures
  • Deliver exceptional service to our employees by promptly addressing inquiries regarding our policies, benefits, and various employee programs
  • This includes supporting onboarding/offboarding processes and workflows, responding to employee inquiries etc
  • Manage conflicting priorities to deliver the highest value initiatives that support key business objectives while respecting organizational and team capacity
  • Handling administrative tasks related to P&C outputs such as managing employee files, sorting company electronic mail, maintaining our HRIS (BambooHR), employee leaves (STD, LTD, parental leave), salary surveys, pay transparency reports etc
  • Ensure our systems and processes are maintained while also creating and updating People & Culture internal & external documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience supporting a 200-500-person organization
  • Familiarity with employee engagement and development strategies

  • Your total budgeted cash compensation for this role is between $84,700 - $121,000, depending on your current skills, experience, training, and overall market demands. This range is subject to change, and there is always room for growth and advancement
