Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree or 5+ years of HR experience (HR Generalist, HR Administration, or People Programs role)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in HR software, performance management tools, and intermediate Excel, with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly
- Excellent ability to coach managers, present ideas, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate across teams
- Basic understanding of state and federal requirements and policies
- Passion for fostering an inclusive workplace, coaching managers on feedback and performance, and driving a positive employee experience
Responsibilities
- Champion Employee Success: Enhance performance management by developing tools to evaluate employee performance effectively. Collaborate with HR Operations to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing improvements in performance management. Work alongside the Talent Acquisition team and HR Operations to facilitate smooth onboarding, orientation, and continuous enhancements in performance management
- Collaborate on Performance Metrics: Work closely with leadership to establish performance metrics that align with organizational goals and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with People Leaders: Help tackle complex issues such as employee relations, leave management, and disciplinary concerns, leveraging your expertise to devise solutions. Collaborate with the team to coach and guide disputes and investigations while promoting well-being through health and safety initiatives
- Support Individual Growth: Develop individualized performance improvement plans as needed, ensuring employees receive the right support and feedback to enhance their performance
- Master HR Systems: Become an HRIS expert, utilizing technology to generate reports, maintain accurate data, and streamline HR processes. Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
- Embrace New Technologies: Stay up-to-date on HR trends and technologies, participating in the implementation of new HRIS systems to enhance performance management and reporting
- Stay Informed, Stay Ahead: Keep up with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in performance management and HR
- Optimize Processes & Efficiency: Develop clear documentation and guides, ensuring transparency in performance management practices and contributing to HR team efficiency
- Strategic Execution: Play a key role in shaping HR strategies, from ideation through execution, to drive long-term organizational success
- Empower Teams & Employees: Partner with managers and the People Experience team to design engaging programs, including training sessions on performance management best practices and feedback techniques
- Facilitate Employee Recognition: Lead employee feedback and recognition initiatives to foster a culture of appreciation and continuous improvement
- Understand Employee Lifecycle: Proactively identify trends and common themes in performance data to improve processes and ensure employee success
Preferred Qualifications
- Masterโs in HR or SHRM, PHR, or HRCI certification (or actively pursuing one)
- De-escalation and coaching expertise
