Responsibilities
- Manage UK office operations, social events, and remote engagement initiatives
- Oversee new joiner and exit processes, including automation and UKVI right-to-work authentication
- Handle payroll, expense approvals, and maintain HR systems like Hibob and HubSpot
- Address employee queries, manage performance processes, and support internal communications
- Refine HR systems, people processes, and internal documentation to enhance efficiency
- Lead culture squads, oversee social budgets, and deploy L&D and anniversary budgets
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and/or operations
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS or data management tooling, as well as payroll processing and basic understanding of labour-related compliance
- Proven ability to optimise workflows, implement automation, and improve processes for efficiency. This can be in the People space, or more broadly in internship, trainee or study environments
- Experience (and enthusiasm for!) planning offsites, social events, and employee engagement initiatives to foster a strong company culture
- Experience using data, ideally to measure employee engagement, retention, payroll accuracy, and process effectiveness
