Summary
Join Unicorn Hunters as their People Director and oversee all aspects of human resources, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role encompasses talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and legal compliance. You will collaborate with leadership on HR strategies, design training programs, foster a positive culture, and implement effective talent acquisition strategies. Responsibilities include managing the full recruitment cycle, employee performance, HR systems, and employee relations. You will also develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a high-growth tech company
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, especially US payroll/taxes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR software
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Foster a positive and inclusive company culture
- Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Manage employee performance, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching and development opportunities
- Manage HR systems and processes, including payroll, benefits, and time and attendance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
- Manage employee relations, including handling employee inquiries, resolving disputes, and conducting investigations
- Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs
- Conduct salary surveys and benchmark compensation practices
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
