Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and project coordination abilities, with keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with new hires and internal teams
  • Comfortable using various software applications and tools, including Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and basic experience with HRIS is a plus
  • Collaborative mindset with a positive attitude, eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in People Operations

Responsibilities

  • Handle sensitive employee data with the highest degree of confidentiality and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all updates and employee records
  • Maintain and update records in the HRIS, including employee records, departmental updates and system field changes to ensure accurate, up-to-date, and consistent data
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People Operations team, including preparing key documentation and assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding tasks
  • Take ownership of high-volume administrative tasks, conducting audits to ensure system accuracy and data integrity
  • Work collaboratively with the People team and other departments to ensure seamless support across the organization
  • Assist with the preparation of ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and tracking key HR metrics, ensuring records and documentation are compliant with both internal processes and external regulations
  • Serve as a first point of contact for new hires, supporting them before and during onboarding by sending welcome emails, addressing ad-hoc questions, and ensuring HRIS updates
  • Support employment verification processes, ensuring timely follow-ups as needed
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency by suggesting process improvements, streamlining workflows or automating repetitive tasks, contributing to the continuous optimization of the People Operations function

Any internships or part-time roles in administrative or HR functions are pros
