Summary

Join Samsara as a People Partner Generalist and play a pivotal role in supporting our GTM functions across North America. You'll be a key member of our People team, partnering with the business to execute day-to-day people operations, drive scalable processes, and contribute to our strategic people initiatives. This remote position is open to candidates residing in the US except for specified areas; relocation assistance is not provided. The role involves providing HR support to North America GTM teams, partnering with Centers of Excellence, executing and improving key people processes, analyzing HR data, conducting process reviews, providing HR consultation, supporting onboarding and offboarding, tracking team OKRs, contributing to team priority setting, and championing Samsara's cultural principles. This opportunity offers real-world impact and rapid career development within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The annual base salary range is $63,367.50–$85,200 USD.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of overall professional experience; 1+ year of professional experience in HR, employee relations, or a related field, with experience supporting teams in fast-paced, cross-functional environments (management consulting experience considered)
  • Strong bias for action and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude
  • Experience using data to drive insights and action
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel), including vlookups
  • Proficiency with project management tools
  • Consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support to North America GTM teams, ensuring seamless communication and effective problem-solving
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (Learning, Performance, ER, Ops, etc.) to align people programs with business priorities
  • Execute and improve key people processes, including performance cycles, engagement surveys, and talent reviews, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analyze HR data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making with support from the team
  • Conduct process reviews and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and stakeholder alignment
  • Provide timely and accurate HR consultation to managers and employees, resolving issues with sound judgment
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, focusing on scalability and efficiency
  • Track team OKRs and identify potential challenges
  • Contribute to team priority setting and organization
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
