Summary

Join Lillio's People Operations team as a dynamic People & Talent Specialist! This role focuses on recruiting, acting as the primary Talent Acquisition contact. You will develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, ensure diversity and inclusion in hiring, collaborate with leadership on hiring needs, and facilitate onboarding. Additionally, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the People Ops team, manage internal inquiries, support HRIS change requests, schedule meetings and events, and assist with policy maintenance. You will also contribute to team-building activities, collaborate on company initiatives, and support the remote-first working strategy. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience with a minimum of 2 years in an HR Generalist or HRBP role
  • 3+ years of internal, full-cycle talent acquisition experience with a strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices
  • Experience in managing sensitive information, underscored by a clear understanding of and adherence to confidentiality and data protection principles
  • Experience maintaining HR software and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adept at building and maintaining relationships and fostering a collaborative environment
  • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition, from sourcing candidates to extending offers
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent
  • Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion in our talent acquisition processes
  • Collaborate with leadership to define hiring needs and craft job descriptions and onboarding schedules and facilitate new colleague orientations and training sessions
  • Act as a liaison for new colleagues, facilitating a smooth transition into their role
  • Continuously improve our talent acquisition, onboarding, and training processes to ensure the best candidate and colleague experience
  • Be the first point of response for all internal #peopleops slack support and inquiries
  • Support change requests in our HRIS, ensuring accuracy in our employee data, workflows, and privacy
  • Schedule meetings and events and maintain agendas for ERGs and committees
  • Assist with administration, policy maintenance and other People Ops procedures
  • Support All-Hands and Quarterly Business Summit content preparation
  • Create and organize regular team-building activities and events to strengthen team cohesion and engagement
  • Collaborate with the People Ops Partner, and VP, People to support and promote initiatives determined by Management, that align with the company's culture and business strategy
  • Proactively develop strong stakeholder relationships facilitating open communication and a culture of continuous feedback
  • Support the People team with executing the remote-first working strategy
  • Support building content for training and development, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in EdTech/Tech with an understanding of EdTech roles and responsibilities is highly preferred
  • Technical talent acquisition experience is a major asset
  • Experience using Rippling HRIS is considered an asset but not required
  • Experience working in a remote-first environment
  • Experience supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
  • Rippling HRIS, Slack, Google Suite
