Summary

The Education Solutions Consultant will develop sales in the assigned territory through reseller partners, provide professional development opportunities to customers, and manage relationships with end users and partners. This is a field-based role that requires strong listening skills, customer empathy, sales experience, excellent presentation skills, knowledge of Promethean products, AV/Education market knowledge, self-starting demeanor, organizational skills, a full clean UK driving license, ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and the ability to quickly learn the Promethean products and solutions. The salary range is Β£31,000 - Β£39,000 plus commission.

Requirements

  • Strong listening skills, customer empathy
  • Some Sales experience in either the education or technology markets
  • Experience of a two-tier distribution sales model advantageous
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • In depth knowledge of Promethean products
  • AV/Education market knowledge would be advantageous
  • Self-starting, independent demeanor
  • Organisational skills
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to quickly learn the Promethean products and solutions
  • Solid understanding of Promethean proposition, products & services
  • Expert technical knowledge of Educational Technology & Integration

Responsibilities

  • Develop the company’s sales in the assigned territory through reseller partners
  • Develop and manage relationships with end users/customers and partners in territory
  • Provide professional development opportunities and support to customers on Promethean hardware and software product suite
  • Work closely with resellers in providing high quality demonstrations and orientation options to current and potential customers and for the resellers themselves
  • Be responsible for a pipeline of opportunities and partner closely with the Channel Sales Team to drive outcomes for Promethean orders
  • Articulate the Promethean value proposition and demonstrate the benefits of Promethean solutions
  • Organize Seed and Demonstration Panel movement around territory with regards to long term and short-term opportunities
  • Regular attendance at key market events either directly for Promethean or to support reseller partners in showcasing the product offering
  • Utilize, track, and maintain customer accounts and opportunities on Salesforce
