You will play a key role in product execution, refining requirements, coordinating sprints, and ensuring cross-team alignment for successful feature delivery. The role involves managing sprints, gathering requirements, ensuring quality assurance, and facilitating cross-team communication. Compensation is $5,000-12,000/month, depending on experience and location.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in consumer mobile product management, preferably within the dating space
- Proven experience in developing and executing growth strategies that drive significant user and revenue growth
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Passion for the LGBTQ+ community and a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges of queer individuals
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize sprint planning in collaboration with the development team
- Ensure that requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria are well-defined
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to maintain sprint health and ensure smooth execution whilst communicating this consistently to all teams
- Track progress, surface risks, and proactively resolve blockers
- Define clear and detailed acceptance criteria for User Stories to ensure alignment with product goals
- Work closely with engineers to break down requirements into actionable development tasks
- Ensure that all acceptance criteria are well-documented and easily understood by the engineering team
- Conduct QA testing to validate that features meet acceptance criteria before release
- Work with engineers and designers to identify and fix usability issues, edge cases, and defects
- Ensure early communication and visibility and smooth handoff to customer support and marketing for new feature rollouts
- Provide regular updates on sprint progress, key decisions, and release timelines to relevant teams
- Serve as a liaison between engineering, design, marketing, and support teams to ensure alignment
- Be constantly and consistently updating specs in Notion and team knowledge in slack based on revisions and agreements during the product cycle
- Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and syncs as needed
