Summary
Join Sezzle as a Product Manager in the Canada product team, where you'll be responsible for supporting the end-to-end experience for customers and merchants, designing, building, innovating, and launching new capabilities. You'll focus on launching enhancements and new products in partnership with other product managers and engineers, ideating on product enhancements, prioritizing, and leading the end-to-end delivery. You'll also help prioritize the Canada Product Roadmap and lead the delivery of key enhancements. This role involves ideating new revenue opportunities, creating business cases, defining scope, and creating initial product plans. You'll act as an internal consultant and product strategist, supporting the company's cross-functional and global strategic initiatives. You'll report to the Head of Product for Canada and interact with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, customers, and merchants. You'll work with cross-functional engineering and business teams to constantly drive product innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the payments or fintech industry
- Experience in leading teams and/or influencing outcomes
- Proficient in SQL
- 2+ years of experience using qualitative and quantitative methodologies to understand customers' ability to explore and structure customers insights
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills
- Ability to translate product needs into technology requirements
Responsibilities
- Develop product roadmaps and work with cross-functional teams (engineering, support, risk, legal, data, etc) to achieve company-wide objectives
- Conduct primary and secondary research, including launching consumer facing surveys, to determine competitive benchmarking/market trends, and refine Sezzleβs strategic and market position
- Analyze current customer/merchant user journeys and make recommendations on improvements for critical points of communication
- Drive product development building end to end solutions with engineers and designers
- Use data to communicate prioritization of products, features and projects to key stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in payments or fin-tech
- Knowledge of customer lifecycle marketing with a strong interest in understanding and shaping consumer behavior
- Experience working in one or many of the following technology tools; Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc), Figma, Stripo, Braze, Active Campaign, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey
- Knowledge of e-commerce practices from a technical perspective
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
