Summary
Join Stripe's Dashboard team as a Product Manager to shape the future of its payment platform. You will evolve the Dashboard to meet diverse business needs, improving user productivity and product discovery. This role requires collaboration with engineering and design teams across time zones to deliver high-impact functionality. You'll define success metrics, partner with senior leadership, and develop strategies for personalization and interoperability. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in product management and a strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management, design, or engineering with at least 3+ years in senior capacity making company-level product decisions
- Strong understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles and best practices
- Technical familiarity with personalization systems, data modeling, and machine learning
- Strong written and verbal communication across business, design, and engineering audiences
- Demonstrated experience leading company-wide initiatives influencing technical roadmaps
Responsibilities
- Make the Dashboard easier to use and more powerful
- Own the strategy and roadmap that makes the Dashboard uniquely good for any business model
- Collaborate with engineering and design across time zones (PST, EST, CET) to ship high impact functionality that delights users, product teams, and third-party developers
- Define and track success metrics for quality and performance
- Partner with senior leadership to understand and uphold our ambitions for quality at scale
Preferred Qualifications
- Believe that fast software is the best software
- Built complex personalization systems in the past
- Developed governance frameworks that balance usage and discovery
- Strong (informed) point of view on how third-party apps fit into first-party experiences
- Enjoy using social media to interact directly with customers for feedback
