Product Manager

Summary

Join Stripe's Infrastructure and Data Experiences Product Team as a Product Manager and collaborate with tech leaders to enhance user experiences and reliable infrastructure. You will streamline business operations, deliver exceptional developer experiences, and work on critical projects to drive growth. This role involves partnering with engineering teams, interacting with external users, validating product ideas, defining success metrics, and collaborating with developer relations and marketing. You will work on infrastructure, APIs, data models, and user-facing products. The ideal candidate is user-focused, analytical, comfortable with ambiguity, and possesses strong technical skills.

Requirements

• Our ideal Product Manager will be relentlessly user-focused, highly analytical, comfortable in ambiguity, have strong technical skills, and the desire to create something new
• Both passion for and experience shipping APIs and tools for developers
• 5+ years of Product Management experience
• Computer Science background or equivalent technical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of developer needs
• You’re knowledgeable of the tools and processes development teams use to develop, build, and, test integrations
• You are hands-on with APIs and documentation

Responsibilities

• Partner with the engineering teams, including Core Infra, Developer Infra, Data Platform, and Service Platform, to ship functionality that delights users, has the right balance of impact vs engineering cost, and makes a measurable impact on the business
• Interact with external users and propose critical infrastructure abstractions that best serve them
• Validate product ideas and prototypes with early adopters
• Define key success metrics for developer products
• Work closely with developer relations and developer marketing to launch new features and drive product awareness and adoption
• Work on infrastructure, API, data models/pipelines roadmaps
• Work on external user-facing products including APIs, abstractions for end users to achieve complete fault tolerance, user reporting and more
