Summary
Join Rouse Services as a Mobile Product Manager and play a key role in enhancing and expanding our mobile application offerings. You will inherit a robust framework, bringing critical functionalities to the mobile platform. This role focuses on driving user engagement, enhancing user experience, and contributing to the strategic development of our mobile app, known for its unique photo uploading capabilities. You will develop and manage the mobile product roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital product management and mobile app development, along with excellent communication and analytical skills. This is a remote-first position located anywhere in the United States, with occasional travel required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in digital product management, with a proven track record in mobile or e-commerce environments
- Experience building and managing iOS and Android apps
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute on product strategies, with a keen eye for user experience and design
- Strong analytical skills, with an aptitude for setting and tracking key performance indicators and making data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical teams and business stakeholders, including direct interactions with customers
- Experience in agile development environments, able to translate user needs into detailed specifications and user stories
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with design and prototyping tools
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the mobile product roadmap, aligning it with strategic business objectives and user needs
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to translate business opportunities into impactful product features
- Lead the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring a seamless user experience and adherence to high-quality standards
- Drive user engagement with innovative features and functionalities that cater to a primary user base of field workers
- Be a critical thinker who can make feature decisions even when requirements are unclear, proactively figuring out the right approach by analyzing data and speaking with users
- Leverage data to understand user behavior, identify gaps, and determine the most impactful product improvements
- Engage directly with users to gather insights and feedback, incorporating them into product development to meet and exceed user expectations
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, leveraging them to keep the mobile app competitive and cutting-edge
- Lead scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and setting acceptance criteria for the development team
- Collaborate closely with designers, offering clear direction and examples to support the design process
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate product updates, releases, and vision effectively
