Summary

Join Cocoon as a temporary Sr. Product Marketing Manager to support our team during a parental leave. This 10-15 hour per week contract runs from February to June 2025. You will collaborate closely with the Staff Content & Community Marketer and VP of Revenue. The role involves managing new feature launches, roadmap enablement, and creating marketing content. Most work is asynchronous, with a few weekly meetings and a requirement for timely Slack communication. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-growing Series A company.

Requirements

  • 10-15 hours of work per week from February - June 2025
  • At least two standing meetings per week (one with Marketing, one with Product)
  • 24-hour response time for Slack messages
  • Agreed-upon “office hours” block (1-2 hours per week) where you are online and available to chat via Slack

Responsibilities

  • Run Bi-weekly meetings with PMs to talk through upcoming launches (async updates
  • Create overall launch plans (see example below): Audience, availability, messaging, rollout comms strategy
  • Create content plans with Ryley; partially execute (emails, blog posts, etc.) with support from Ryley and contract copywriter Nikki
  • GTM enablement: built documentation and coordinate training with PMs
  • Organize and update Asana
  • [When relevant] Coordinate web updates
  • Give bi-weekly Roadmap updates in Slack
  • Update external “Roadmap & recent updates” slides that Sales/Success use
  • Q2 roadmap (likely finalized mid-late March) enablement: coordinate “Roadmap read-out” meeting with PMs, update documentation, plan quarterly content calendar with Ryley
  • [TBD] Q2 “Voice of the customer” report
  • Spearhead and aggregate report based on existing format
