Summary

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in marketing, with at least 1 in Product Marketing
  • B2B marketing experience in SaaS space
  • Experience in working with Product and Revenue Teams on product-led growth (PLG) initiatives
  • Able to write effective communication in a branded style across a range of digital content, including case studies, blog posts, product feature overviews, emails, social media, press releases, internal resources, and presentations
  • Proven track record of supporting and executing marketing activities, campaigns, and/or product launches
  • Showcase proven ability to support multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, upholding the quality of work
  • A strong work ethic, team-player mentality, and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Able to engage with various stakeholders at different levels of organizations and across key functions of sales and product
  • Thrive in a dynamic business environment, embracing change and staying abreast of marketing trends
  • Willingness to be proficient across several different fields including email, social, web, events and strategy
  • Self-driven and able to work in a remote environment, including working flexible hours as required
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product and Revenue to understand and influence improvements in how people discover, learn, try, and buy Octopus
  • Work closely with the product growth team to support strategy development and the execution of marketing activities for product-led growth initiatives
  • Craft messaging and support the delivery of persuasive marketing materials, including webpages, press releases, social media, event materials, flyers, blog posts, and video content, effectively communicating the unique value and ROI of Octopus's products and services
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns that appeal to our customers and target audience, including project management of key tasks
  • Support sales enablement with tools and resources
  • Develop engaging customer case studies that tell our customer's stories from interview to writing, approvals, publication, and promotion on social media
  • Help to build customer evidence by promoting submissions of product reviews
  • Analyze data to derive insights that inform marketing strategies and product development decisions
  • Work closely with Product Owners/Managers to support the commercial success of new product launches and feature releases
  • Support working with analysts to increase the visibility of Octopus in the marketplace
  • Stay up-to-date with competitors in our space, provide insights to the product and sales teams
  • Develop test/learn/iterate processes to successfully drive continuous improvement
