Summary
Join CALSTART as an Innovative Mobility Program Manager to coordinate across all initiatives and regional offices, multiplying the value of existing investments and identifying new opportunities in clean transportation. You will engage with stakeholders, manage a portfolio of projects across personal, school, and last-mile mobility, and lead the National Innovative Mobility Working Group. Requirements
- 5-7 years of direct or transferrable professional experience
- 5+ years of experience working in clean transportation, with a focus on active and shared modes preferred
- Experience with grassroots community engagement for transportation, mobility, affordable housing, land use, and/or environmental justice
- Experience with project management, proposal development, and budgeting
- Bachelorβs degree in Sustainability, Planning, Civil Engineering, Policy, or related field of study
Responsibilities
- Manage CALSTART's National Innovative Mobility Working Group, including stakeholder engagement, member recruitment, agenda setting, and working group deliverables
- Lead a portfolio of innovative mobility projects across personal mobility, school mobility, and last-mile deliveries
- Lead the development of new proposals, including establishing partnerships, generating new concepts, and budgeting
- Support the ongoing evolution of the Innovative Mobility strategy to grow the initiative's business pursuits and membership base
- Promote the value of mobility projects through speaking opportunities and publications
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree or other advanced degree in a relevant field
- Certifications: PMP, AICP
- Experience in non-profit business development
- Experience with both personal mobility and goods movement projects
- Background in Human-centered design (HCD) principles and applications
- Knowledge of advanced transportation technologies, including automated vehicles and curbside management
