Summary
Join MongoDB's IAM & Security Engineering team as a Service Delivery Manager. This critical role ensures the reliable and efficient delivery of security services, tools, and policies. You will develop and maintain a robust framework for planning, implementing, and improving these elements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with organizational needs and drive continuous improvement through automation and emerging technologies. This position offers the opportunity to lead, shape a critical function, and work with cutting-edge technologies. The role can be based in New York City or remotely within the United States.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT Security, IAM, or related domains, with at least 3 years in a leadership or service delivery role
- Strong expertise in IAM frameworks, Zero Trust architectures, and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Experience managing IAM solutions such as Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, CyberArk, or Ping Identity
- Strong grasp of technical concepts and technical project management skills
- Proven track record of implementing and improving ITIL-based service delivery frameworks
- Strong understanding of security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, GDPR, etc.)
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee a service delivery framework to ensure IAM and security solutions are consistently aligned with business objectives
- Partner with Engineers to design, implement, and manage IAM and Security Engineering services, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Establish governance, metrics, and SLAs to measure and enhance service performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Compliance, Legal, and Business Units, to align IAM & Security Engineering strategies with organizational needs
- Ensure continuous improvement in IAM and Security Engineering tools by leveraging automation, analytics, and emerging security technologies
- Own the incident response process related to IAM and Security Engineering tools, ensuring swift remediation and minimal disruption
- Drive vendor management and strategic partnerships to optimize IAM and Security Engineering technology investments
- Act as a thought leader in IAM and Security Engineering, providing guidance on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and best practices
