Join Turing, a rapidly growing AI company, as a Program Manager in the LLM Data Services Business Unit. You will drive key initiatives, ensuring successful project delivery focused on enhancing data quality and availability, and driving operational excellence. Responsibilities include defining project scopes, developing plans, coordinating resources, managing changes, measuring performance, reporting issues, performing risk management, and maintaining relationships with vendors. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field, proven project management experience in data services or machine learning, strong data management understanding, excellent communication skills, and solid organizational abilities. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven working experience in project management, with a focus on data services or machine learning projects
- Strong understanding of data management principles and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability of high-quality, diverse data sets to support the training and optimization of large language models
- Implement best practices for data collection, annotation, and validation to maintain data integrity and relevance
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify data needs and develop strategies to meet those needs effectively
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget
- Develop and implement scalable processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity within the business unit
- Monitor and report on project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery
- Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master's degree is a plus
- PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is a plus
- Experience with agile methodologies is preferred
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
