Requirements

  • Bachelor level degree in Accounting, Finance, or another Business-Related field required
  • Minimum 0+ years related work experience
  • Desire to participate on a cross-functional team
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to prepare and analyze financial information
  • Must have excellent Excel skills
  • Must be capable of exercising good judgment in areas of moderate complexity when the situation warrants
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • High level analytical capabilities
  • High math competency level; very detail oriented
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter and motivation to accomplish tasks with direction
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to support multiple projects

Responsibilities

  • Support the revenue generation cycle by processing client invoices, client deposits, and cash applications
  • Support the overall portfolio of clients through communication with the Project Team (Project Accountants, Business Development, Proposals, Activation Administrators, Resourcing, Project Management) & investigating financial inquiries, as requested
  • Process project timesheet and invoice adjustments, escalating to management when necessary
  • Support the Proposal process by assisting with financial contract reviews, including project estimation review and support, as assigned
  • Support authorization of final project activation based on client contracts and client relationship status, escalating to management when necessary
  • Review project details to ensure accuracy of data and alignment between systems
  • Calculate current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses, as requested
  • Identify and support process improvements within assigned projects and activities
  • Undertake special projects as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Salesforce, NetSuite and OpenAir a plus
