Remote Project Manager

Summary

Join a dynamic team at European Dynamics as a Project Manager to offer services as part of a major European Institution. The successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team and work on-site or remotely. The role involves managing components, coordinating contractors, producing documents, and participating in meetings.

Requirements

• University degree combined with relevant professional experience of 9 years
• Experience with Project Management tools and methodologies
• Experience of large scale systems integration projects, preferably within IT and/or taxation, excise and customs environment
• Understand the technological aspects of the project, application design (Java, Oracle, containers, mTLS, Kubernetes, Camunda, KAFKA), implementation and testing (functional, UI, performance, stress, security), including the risks and the success factors
• Experience in project coordination procedures, preferably involving a recognised methodology
• Ability to produce minutes, notes, business cases, vision documents, service level agreements, terms of collaboration, planning schedules, etc
• Experience in a public administration is an asset
• Excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up a set of components in some or all their life cycle phases: inception, elaboration, construction and transition
• Coordinate and engage with the operational and infrastructure contractor to ensure the correct and timely delivery of infrastructure and tooling for making the different environment available
• Produce and/or review documents and deliverables (use cases, technical and testing specification, logical data model, test results, UI specification, design documents ) from contractors or other project stakeholders
• Provide suggestions for service, procedures or methodology improvements
• Produce and/or review documents
• Participate in and contribute to meetings
