Summary
The Project Manager will lead and oversee the development and execution of renewable energy projects powered by co-located data centers for a dynamic organization focused on maximizing shareholder value through sustainable growth. The role requires 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector or related industries.
Requirements
- Bachelor preferred in business, operations, management, and/or finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector or related industries
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams to develop detailed engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Provide oversight and supervision of construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Identify project risks, technical challenges, and potential issues that may impact project performance or delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including technical specifications, engineering drawings, construction records, and commissioning reports
- Prepare regular progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams towards achieving project objectives and deliverables
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and project updates to diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management principles
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, zoning requirements, and other regulatory frameworks relevant to renewable energy project development and operations
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
- Ability to utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and the MAS90 system
- In-depth understanding of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass, and/or geothermal, and their respective development processes
