  • At least 5 years of experience as an attorney advising on regulatory compliance in some or all of the following areas: Healthcare (HIPAA, Medicaid, Medicare), Product compliance for global online services (US, EU, APAC), Privacy (CCPA, CPRA, MHMD, GDPR, FTC), Consumer protection

Responsibilities

  • Help surface, scope and drive legal work streams and create processes related to ensuring compliance with domestic and international laws
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement privacy-by-design principles
  • Identify applicable laws and regulations, assess compliance vulnerability and risk, provide actionable advice, and develop and implement action plans to mitigate potential risks
  • Assist in the review and assessment of new products, features, and uses of data to assess compliance with laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Assist with maintaining and updating consumer notices, terms of service, and privacy policies
  • Monitor and anticipate developments in the regulatory landscape
  • Create and advise on policies, processes, systems, and internal controls necessary to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to products and data, employment matters, and corporate structure

Benefits

Base salary ranges from $138,640 to $242,600 depending on the geographic location. The role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off
