Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record of successful sales experience, ideally in an SMB sales environment
- Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and drive to achieve goals
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify potential SMB clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and pain points
- Present and demonstrate our products/services to prospects, showcasing how they address client needs and deliver value
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, including pricing and contract terms
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within SMB organizations
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive and professional experience
- Negotiate and finalize contracts to close business deals, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas on a consistent basis
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our solutions
- Maintain a deep understanding of our product/service offerings and their benefits to SMB clients
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, opportunities, and market feedback
- Work closely with the marketing, sales development, and product teams to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales strategy discussions to contribute to overall team success
