Join a dynamic team as the Campaign Manager for a 2026 Massachusetts ballot campaign, leading all aspects of the building phase and reporting to the Coalition Cabinet. You will develop a two-year campaign plan, manage staff and consultants, and ensure successful completion of strategic goals.
Requirements
- A campaign professional and expert manager with at least two cycles of leadership experience on a competitive candidate, ballot, or issue campaign at the statewide or similar level
- A proven leader with a track record of building strong teams and leading them to success
- Knowledgeable about best practices and tools for base-building, volunteer recruitment, and mobilization
- Passionate about increasing democratic participation and political engagement in Massachusetts
- A communicator who is comfortable expressing ideas and representing the Committee in both spoken and written formats
- Someone who values collaboration across parties, ideologies, and issue areas
Responsibilities
- Lead development of a two-year campaign plan
- Manage all aspects of the campaign, including campaign staff and consultants
- Hire and oversee campaign personnel, including a finance director and field director, as well as consultants
- Lead your team to victory; role-model vision, leadership, and values
- Ensure successful completion of strategic goals; work with the Chair and coalition members to establish and assess those goals
- Manage and expand the coalition supporting the ballot initiative while identifying and mitigating likely opposition
- Craft and implement a full communications strategy, including building relationships with the press
- Serve as a public-facing spokesperson and ambassador for the Committeeโs values and policy goals
