Requirements
- Startup Experience: Prior experience working at a seed or Series A startup, where youβve been comfortable operating in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
- SDR and/or Sales Experience: You have experience as an SDR and a strong understanding of outbound prospecting, email outreach, and lead qualification. You may have recently been promoted into a sales role or are ready for your first chance to prove yourself as a closer
- Technical Background: You have a technical background or the desire or curiosity to get into the technical details. You have experience with or a passion for cybersecurity
- Background and education: Undergraduate degree with at least 3 years of SDR or sales experience
Responsibilities
- Active pipeline management: Work directly with the COO to own the end-to-end coordination of sales opportunities, advancing conversation with prospects and project managing internal stakeholders
- Outbounding and opportunity creation: Drive outbound strategy and executionβsending emails, setting up automations, and re-engaging previous prospects. Generate leads from our broad open source user base and self-serve customer base by working with the sales operations team to identify buying signals
- Value-based selling: Work with prospects to understand their pain points, collect business outcomes and establish the value and ROI of our product. Help validate our product strategy by documenting what messaging resonates. Create repeatable sales messaging that captures the value of our product and how we are differentiated from alternative solutions
- Product feedback loop: Aggregate feedback from prospects and users, gathering critical product requirements and sharing these with product and engineering teams. Help prioritize this feedback based on overall impact to the customer
Benefits
On-target earnings: $200,000 - $300,000 with compensation being a 50 / 50 split between base and variable for U.S. located employees DOE
