Summary

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience, with demonstrated success in partnering with leaders to align organizational goals and HR initiatives
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to switch between strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and influencing skills
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships as a trusted advisor at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability in coaching, influencing without authority, and building strong business acumen
  • Strong presentation skills, with demonstrated success in facilitating meetings and trainings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data to report on performance and make decisions
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn relevant HR systems (ADP, Greenhouse, Cornerstone, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, industry trends, and employment laws and regulations in the U.S. and Canada

Responsibilities

  • Serves as dedicated HR Business Partner to assigned functional teams
  • Provides support and guidance to leaders when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise such as employee relations, performance issues, terminations, and investigations
  • Provides guidance and thought leadership across the organization on HR-related topics including performance management, career development, employee engagement, organizational design, change management, employee relations, DEI, and other key initiatives
  • Partners with the global HR team to execute the organizationโ€™s human resource and talent strategy
  • Consult with leaders at all levels to provide day-to-day guidance on HR matters
  • Conducts employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, exit interviews, and investigations
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes improvements to current programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent professional certification
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech company
  • Experience working in a global environment
