Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of total HR business partner experience
  • Understanding of, and experience with, core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing; employee relations; labor relations; performance management; leadership development; training)
  • Previous talent management and succession planning experience preferred
  • Proven ability to influence decision making; courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professional and poise
  • Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations; highly adaptable to a fluid and ever-changing work environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and gather insights
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Exercise a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy in interactions with all levels of the organization
  • Strong experience and demonstrated skills in handling a variety of employee relations matters
  • Excellent follow-through skills and the ability to anticipate and address business needs proactively
  • Possess a strong work ethic; self-motivated with a desire to take initiative and look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies; have a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in managing through multiple priorities with overlapping tasks across multiple businesses
  • Team-oriented attitude balanced with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and adheres to a high standard of professional conduct
  • Strong knowledge in employment laws; multi-jurisdiction experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with aligned HRBPs: provide functional and local HR support; project manage and execute talent practices and other key initiatives
  • Providing employee relations support including policy implementation, interpretation and enforcement; conduct employee investigations and partner with Employee Relations where needed
  • Supporting business goals, strengthen organizational effectiveness, impact performance, retention, employee engagement, and promote the development of employees and managers
  • Provide analytics and data insights into their client groups’ most pressing needs
  • Partnering with HR Centers of Excellence to create an environment that optimizes the critical people resources and matches them to the needs of the business
  • Actively engaging with all levels of employees to create and sustain a solid relationship network, maintain a reliable pulse on organization dynamics and behaviors that affect employee engagement and business goals
  • Proactively recommending actions to management where concerns may arise, or patterns of employee issues could emerge
  • Leading change within the business; design processes and approaches which prepare employees for ongoing change and transformation
