  • 3+ years of experience with lab tools, including operational knowledge and equipment maintenance
  • Experience in two or more of the following: mechanical prototypes, electrical testing, environmental testing, material characterization, and hardware root cause analysis
  • Experience with procurement and inventory control of supplies and equipment
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment protocols and procedures
  • Ability to utilize, calibrate, and configure laboratory testing systems and instruments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and motivation to operate effectively in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

Job description

Control Risks is looking for a Lab Operations Specialist to support our client’s Fraud & Piracy program. This role will drive and implement consistent operation models for testing & characterization lab parallel to supporting lab resources and users.

  • Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and procedures

  • Handle lab maintenance, day-to-day operational items, and procurement management

  • Coordinate lab workload and facilitate shipping and receiving of samples

  • Assist lab technicians in assembly and testing of sample devices and hardware systems

  • Support evaluation of equipment and accessories to maintain and continually scale service offerings worldwide
