Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical engineering, Material science, Physics, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience with lab tools, including operational knowledge and equipment maintenance
- Experience in two or more of the following: mechanical prototypes, electrical testing, environmental testing, material characterization, and hardware root cause analysis
- Experience with procurement and inventory control of supplies and equipment
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment protocols and procedures
- Ability to utilize, calibrate, and configure laboratory testing systems and instruments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and motivation to operate effectively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

Job description
Control Risks is looking for a Lab Operations Specialist to support our client’s Fraud & Piracy program. This role will drive and implement consistent operation models for testing & characterization lab parallel to supporting lab resources and users.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and procedures
Handle lab maintenance, day-to-day operational items, and procurement management
Coordinate lab workload and facilitate shipping and receiving of samples
Assist lab technicians in assembly and testing of sample devices and hardware systems
Track and document test devices from initial involvement through final resolution
Support evaluation of equipment and accessories to maintain and continually scale service offerings worldwide
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical engineering, Material science, Physics, or related fields
