Responsibilities

  • Deliver marketing content across multiple channels including email, social media, app and website to support client, team and channel strategic aims
  • Write & proofread clear, concise and engaging marketing copy for use in campaigns
  • Use segmentation techniques to select the right audience for each campaign
  • Using Adobe Dreamweaver to construct email campaigns, amending and checking basic HTML code
  • Work closely with Partnerships, Propositions and other teams to ensure we’re maximising engagement
  • Collaborate with client Account Managers to develop appropriate marketing strategies and plans
  • Analyse internal and competitive data and use these to improve future campaigns

Job description

Job Title: Marketing Executive Placement

Location: Hybrid – Stafford office & up to 2 days remote per week

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Salary: Real Living Wage (Currently £23,400 - will be reviewed in April 2025)

The role is open to undergraduate students looking for a year in industry as part of their bachelors degree course

All equipment provided for both office and remote set up (if required)

The role

Do you have a passion for marketing? Do you have a keen eye for detail? Do you want to learn a broad range of different marketing skills? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then we want to meet you. We’re looking for a proactive candidate to join our friendly, high functioning team. Within this role you will need to be a clear communicator and be able to work to deadlines. You will be responsible for delivering marketing content for some of the UK’s biggest brands including Sky, ASOS, Selfridges, Domino’s and many more. You will be well supported by a dedicated and experienced team who truly care about the quality of work we produce. Your perspective and input will be truly valued throughout your placement year. It’s a chance to learn and expand your knowledge in a market-leading company.

Full training will be given.

Here’s a word from a previous placement student: “I’m almost three months into my placement and I’m absolutely loving it. There’s other placement students (I’ve ended up living with some of them) which has allowed me to make some really good friends too.

Just a little side mention that there’s table tennis tables, a pool table, an air hockey table and loads of consoles that you can use on your breaks. Plus, you get Pizza Hut pizza once a month as part of the Pizza Meetings. Definitely a great company to do your placement at!”
